This book should not exist. (SWS link)

No really. There is NO NEED for this book.

And the way it's written....JUST PISSES ME OFF.

The story of that Twilight author is told by a vampire. And oh...not just any vampire. Take the most old school horror movie vampire as drawn by someone who makes cheap Halloween decorations and THAT is the vampire you get narrating this tale.

He's of course acting all creepy-like and snacks on a spider. I dunno why. I guess that makes him even more creepy because he likes to snack on an ugly arachnid.

Anyway, so Mr. Stereotypical Vampire tells how Ms. Multimillionaire moved around a lot and met her husband. And then of course, it talks about 'the dream that changed everything.' (I am putting that in air quotes, not actual quoted script. But honestly, given how crappy it was written, it might as well have been said like that.)

Basically after that, it goes on to say she writes the story and it gets really popular after being published. And then the vampire telling the story is basically licking his lips about how this means he'll have some fangirls to snack on.

And while that part made me growl, I had to admit that that part is kinda true. Some fangirls think it would be cool to meet an actual vampire. Then they chat up one that is one of the evil murdering types and...well, it hardly ever ends well.

Still, the fact that this creepy-for-the-sake-of-being-creepy vampire said it pissed me off.

Dear People,

You have no taste.

you are darkslateblue
#483D8B

Your dominant hue is blue, making you a good friend who people love and trust. You're good in social situations and want to fit in. Just be careful not to compromise who you are to make them happy.

Your saturation level is medium - You're not the most decisive go-getter, but you can get a job done when it's required of you. You probably don't think the world can change for you and don't want to spend too much effort trying to force it.

Your outlook on life can be bright or dark, depending on the situation. You are flexible and see things objectively.

Stupid song. Get outta my head!

DeAnna's recovery had been something of a miracle. Doctors were scratching their heads at how quickly she recovered. Even Terrence was a bit concerned, wondering at times if she was going through a transformation herself.

But, DeAnna recovered and still seemed mortal. Her touch was warm again, her heart was beating, but still...Terrence could tell there was something...different about her.

After she left the hospital, DeAnna stayed with her parents for a few days. But finally she asked to stay with Terrence. Her father Mark did not seem to approve of this idea, but still, DeAnna packed her things to move in with her boyfriend.

This time, Terrence begged DeAnna to call once her car pulled up and call him. Even though the vampire that attacked her hadn't been back since that terrifying night, neither of them wanted to chance anything.

Terrence sat on his couch, waiting for DeAnna to call him.

Not everyone in Terrence's building knew the truth about what he truly was. In fact, only a handful of the building's tenants actually did.

Terrence wasn't the type to draw attention to himself. In fact he thought it would be for the best that he didn't.

He didn't know that his neighbor Bill had found out Terrence was a vampire. And, Terrence had no idea that Bill was quite scared by that fact and had decided to take matters into his own hands.

While Terrence didn't know what his neighbor was plotting, Bill didn't know Terrence had a date planned that evening and that DeAnna was going to stay the night.

Shortly after sunrise, a friend of Bill's had picked the lock to Terrence's apartment door allowing Bill to slip in and slowly close the door behind him. Bill carefully tiptoed his way inside noticing the large portraits and the dark curtains covering the windows.

He carefully made his way towards the kitchen and slowly opened the refrigerator door just enough to peak inside. His stomach turned as he saw the vials of blood being stored in there and he quickly, but quietly, shut the door.

Taking a breath he gave the wooden stake in his right hand a bit of a squeeze, feeling he had seen enough to confirm that Terrence was indeed a vampire. Bill began to think to himself, attempting to rationalize what he was about to do. You can't have a monster next door to you, Bill. You never know what he may do. Your wife and baby's lives are at risk. Not to mention your own and others in the building. What you're doing is for the greater good. That's right, the greater good. You can do it. It's already sunrise and he'll be slumbering.

Slowly he made his way across the living room. The lights from the electronic devices in there were giving him a source of illumination. He also could see a faint light coming from the bedroom's doorway. The bedroom door was open and he could see a dark shape on the bed.

That's gotta be him.

As Bill got closer, he realized the light coming from the bedroom's doorway was actually a bit of the light from the bathroom connected to the bedroom.

I thought vampires could see in the dark. Why would-

Bill's question was answered even before he could finish thinking it. Terrence wasn't alone in his bed. In fact he was snuggled next to DeAnna, though Bill had no idea who she was. He figured she must be mortal, or at least a creature unable to see in the dark.

Now what? I can't do this with someone else here.

He took a step back, the floor letting out a slight creak as he did so. Bill went wide eyed, hoping that sound wasn't heard.

But that was enough to jolt Terrence awake, sit up and give a wide eyed bewildered glare at the intruder. Terrence put his hand down beside DeAnna, his arm like a gate between Bill and DeAnna's torso.

"How, what-" Terrence began to sputter until he saw the stake in his hand. Then he knew what Bill was here to do. Still in a state of shock, Terrence blurted, "You're here to kill me?!"
